Public Libraries

Overview
CDygert Solutions works with public libraries large and small across the country to help them achieve their goals and meet their community’s needs.
Examples of the projects we have conducted with public libraries include:
An Internal Library Operations Review for a seven-branch library system, with both urban and rural locations, to assess current library operations and develop a comprehensive, sustainable strategic plan to help the library achieve its aspirations for the future.
An Organizational Study and Peer Library Salary Study for a fourteen-branch urban library system to identify solutions to improve communication and staff job satisfaction, review the roles and responsibilities of key positions and make recommendations for the organizational structure. The peer library salary survey illustrated how the library’s salaries compare to regional and other peer libraries.
An Inventory Control Workflow Analysis for a six-branch rural library system to track the efficiency of how library materials moved through their system. This initial project led to a second, with CDygert Solutions developing a set of requirements for an RFP for a Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) and Automated Materials Handling (AMH) System for the library.
For all of the project examples above, CDygert Solutions provided reports that included real-world, actionable recommendations to serve as roadmaps for moving forward.
